POLAND: UFO Formation Flew Rapidly Over Warsaw [14/03/07]

Warsaw [Mazowieckie], March 14th 2007, ~21:00.

At about 9 pm. on 14th March 2007 Mr. T.P. living in Warsawian Srodmiescie [the Middle City district] noticed from balcony of his flat located on 4th floor 4 bright objects that in the first part of the sighting formed a horizontal line in the sky. Then they arranged in horizontal line and to create finally a rhomboidal formation.

At about 9 pm. the witness went on his balcony to smoke a cigarette. Suddenly he noticed a strange manifestation in the sky.

"I'm a smoker" - he admitted - "and I have to go to the balcony where I can smoke freely. It is often during smoking that you look around. Yesterday my sight focused on stars. Looking up I noticed a group of 4 lights crossing the sky from Zoliborz to Goclaw. They remained in my sight for only about 5 seconds. During the flight they were changing they arrangement - at first they flew in vertical line, then arranged horizontal and finally transformed themselves in a whirling rhomb. It lasted only a while but I'm certain of what I saw.”

Just after the sighting, the witness look at his watch. It was 9:02 pm.

According to his relation the weather condition were good and the visibility was excellent. It was almost cloudless night with temperature about 8 - 10 Celsius degrees.

The witness compared the object size to that of stars. They also emitted light that was "brighter than gray and darker than white". Four objects seemed to be identical. During several seconds of sightings variations in intensity of objects’ light can be noticed.

Alleged UFOs were traveling from north - west in south-eastern direction with steady speed. The witness cannot say on what altitude the objects were positioned and how far they were. "If a plane flies on 10 km altitude with speed varying from 900 to 100 km/h, these objects traveled 10 times faster" - he said.

Moreover the way of flight of these objects seemed at least unusual:

"They were flying in formation, in constant proximity one to another. They appeared in an arrangement, one after another. The change to another arrangement was very fluent and rapid. Then they change the configuration. That 'vertical line' made of these points fell down as a cut down tree. In the end, when they began disappearing from my sight, they created a rhomb [...]. When they achieved that state, they began changing their places on the rhomb corners making it clockwise" – stated the witness who rejected also the possibility that they were conventional objects.

POLAND: Alleged Pulsating UFO Photographed over Sandomierz [13/03/07]

Sandomierz [Swietokrzyskie], March 13th 2007.

On 13th March at about 9:30 pm, Marcin Popek from Sandomierz (Swietokrzyskie) saw a strange light in the sky. He stressed that the visible object differed from stars with intensive and pulsating, multicolor lights. He managed to take a photo of the alleged UFO. An object pulsating with multicolor light was positioned on high altitude in the south-western part of the sky, circa 30 degrees over the horizon. In the time of the sightings weather conditions were very good and the sky was clear so the witness was able to compare the object with other visible stars.

After several minutes of observation the witness decided to capture the object with his Olympus 510 UZ camera.
“I wasn’t able to get a tripod to make my photos better” – he complained.

During the sighting the object was continuously changing its colors from blue and green to red making it in very rapid motion. The object was three times bigger than other stars visible at the moment. To compare the image of alleged UFO with that of normal stars, the witness shot some additional photos.
Regarding this case we must consider some pro and contras. One of the easiest possibilities said that the witness saw a bright star or other object while its twinkling was only a optical illusion. Anyway, it doesn’t explain the unusual pulsation and disappearance of the object within 10 minutes (according to the witness there were no clouds therefore it the disappearance was of ‘strange kind’). Mr. Popek wasn't sure what the object was but that it didn't resemble any known object.

POLAND: Zigzagging UFO seen in Rzeszów [13/03/07]

Rzeszów [Podkarpackie], March 13th 2007.

On 13th March 2007 at about 8 pm. Mr. Lukas B. [28] from Rzeszów [Resovia, Podkarpackie] along with his fiancee and mother noticed a strange behaving “disc-shaped” object in the sky over Rzeszow that for dozen of minutes remained in zigzagging motion, leaving the witnesses stunned.

“At 19:55 while returning by car along with my Mother and fiancée, passing through Milocinska street in Rzeszów and approaching Baranowka neighborhood I saw by the car pane a bright light high in the sky that drew my attention” – said the witness.

After several minutes the car with three passengers stopped at a nearby meadow. When they arrived at the place, they began observing it from inside of the car but after a while they went outside. The object was visible in the night sky, pulsating noticeably with orange light. According to the witnesses the object was bigger that stars and planes (one of them was seen at the time of sighting).

Although the object was small in dimension it resembled a “disc” and was moving with unstable motion, changing unexpectedly its speed and way of flight. That fact made the witnesses believe that they saw rather a strange thing.

“Although the object was far away and wasn’t well visible it resembled me a disc. Moreover, my fiancée can also assert it. I saw a light and something resembling less bright ‘rims of the plate’. It was moving right, very slowly and then it accelerated heading downward. It perform some ‘swirls’ and then began flying upside down – it resembled a bouncing ball. We also noticed that some smudge was sometimes visible at the both edges of it” – the witness said. He also added that the object was able to stop in the air for a while.

Marzena G. [22] the witness’ fiancée also admitted that she saw an orange, rapidly moving object that was swirling and sometimes stopping in the air. The witness claims that his mother was also impressed with the event although she’s rather a skeptic person.

“The event was very important for me since also my Mum take part in it. She’s a very serious person and treat similar events with skepticism. It’s a pity that I hadn’t got a camera with me” – regrets Lukasz B.

As we found out from the witnesses, in the time of the sighting the weather conditions were good. The sighting lasted about 20 minutes. The unusual behavior and alleged disc – like shape of the object make the possibility that the object mightn’t be a conventional craft. Also the witness himself rejected the possibility that he saw just a plane. Lukas B. even illustrated for his mother differences between a conventional craft visible in the time of alleged UFO sighting in other part of the sky. He also stated in an interview that the alleged UFO was several kilometers away, slowly departing westwards. It was noticeably bigger than any visible star and pulsated with white, yellow and orange light of various intensity.
